Write an email from a deal

How to compose and send an email directly from a deal record.

You can send emails from inside a deal so your communication stays linked to the opportunity. Emails sent from a deal are visible to anyone on your team with access, keeping outreach centralized.

Steps

  1. Go to SalesDeals.

  2. Click the deal you want to email from.

  3. Click the Emails tab.

  4. Click Compose email. Your default connected email address appears in the From field.

  5. Add your recipients under To, enter a Subject, and write your message in the Enter message field.

  6. Send the email.

The email appears in the communication thread below the Compose email button. You can use the Search bar at the top of the tab to find specific emails.


FAQ

Can I edit my email signature? Yes. If you've previously created a signature, you can edit it from the bottom-right corner of the email composer.

Can I add attachments? Yes. You'll find the attachment option at the bottom-right corner of the email composer.

Can I delete a draft before sending? Yes. The delete option is also available at the bottom-right corner of the email composer.
