Step-by-step guide to connecting your Zoom account, adding video conferencing to calendar events, and removing the integration.
Click the ⚙️ icon in the top-left corner to open Settings.
Click on Calendar
Go to the Conference settings tab.
Click the Connect Zoom button.
Zoom will open a new window asking you to log in and authorize Wonderly to access your account. Review the permissions and click Authorize to proceed. Once authorized, you'll be returned to the settings page and Zoom will appear as connected.
Click Edit once your Zoom account is integrated.
Click on the Meeting link dropdown. You will see three options:
Use personal Zoom link – Wonderly uses the same Zoom link for all events.
Auto-generate link – Wonderly generates a unique Zoom link for every calendar event you create.
Manually enter Zoom Link – Paste an existing Zoom meeting URL directly into Wonderly to use for every meeting.
Select the option that matches your workflow. You can change this setting at any time.
Expected Outcome: The next time you create a calendar event, Zoom will be available as a conferencing option, and the Zoom link will be added based on your configuration.
Go to Calendar.
Click + New Event at the top left corner of your screen.
In the Event Details, select Zoom as your conferencing option.
Fill in the event details and click on Create Event.
Expected Outcome: The Zoom link will be added to the calendar event according to your configuration, and participants can join the meeting directly from that specific link.
Go to Settings
Click on Calendar
Go to the Conference settings tab.
Click on the three-dot menu (...) next to your Zoom account.
Click Remove.
Expected Outcome: Wonderly will disconnect from your Zoom account. Any existing calendar events with Zoom links will remain unchanged, but you won't be able to add new Zoom links to future events until you reconnect.
Start here
Connection status: Shows whether Zoom is currently connected to your Wonderly account
Meeting link preference: Determines whether each event gets a unique link or uses your personal meeting link
Pay attention to
Authorization window: Make sure you're authorizing the correct Zoom account if you have multiple accounts
Trash icon location: This is the only way to disconnect Zoom from Wonderly
You can ignore for now
Other conferencing integrations: Only relevant if you plan to use multiple video services
Advanced Zoom settings: Zoom-specific preferences are managed in your Zoom account, not Wonderly
What's next?
You're all set. Now when you create calendar events in Wonderly, you can add Zoom conferencing with a single click. If you need to change your meeting link preference later, return to the calendar settings page and update your choice.
