Manage tasks from your Agenda

How to update task details directly from your daily AI Agenda in Wonderly.

Any task that appears in your agenda is live — changes you make to it sync immediately to your task list and projects across Wonderly. You can update a deadline, mark a task complete, change its status, or adjust the estimated duration without leaving the agenda.

Edit a task deadline

1. Open your AI Agenda.

2. Open the task you want to edit.

3. In the task modal, click the second date field under Dates — this is the Deadline.

4. Select a new due date from the calendar.

Expected outcome: The task deadline is updated instantly, and the change syncs automatically. Changes made in the agenda are reflected immediately in your projects and task list.

Update a task's status

1. Open the task on your AI Agenda.

2. In the task modal, click the Status dropdown.

3. Choose a status — Todo, Canceled, or Completed.

Expected outcome: The task status is updated instantly, and the change syncs automatically. Updates made in the agenda are reflected immediately in your projects and task list.

Adjust a task's duration

1. Open the task on your AI Agenda.

2. Go to Duration.

3. Add your desired duration for the task.

4. Click the right field to change the total estimated time — select from the list, set a reminder for durations under 5 minutes, or type a custom amount.

5. Click the left field to update the time you have already worked on the task.

Expected outcome: The task duration is updated instantly, and the change syncs automatically. Updates made in the agenda are reflected immediately in your projects and task list.

The maximum duration you can set for a task is 40 hours.

If I mark a task as complete from the agenda, does it update everywhere in Wonderly? Yes. Any change you make to a task from the agenda — including marking it complete, updating its status, or adjusting its deadline — syncs immediately to your task list and projects across Wonderly.

Can I create a new task directly from the agenda? Yes. You can create a task from your AI Agenda the same way you would from any Wonderly document. See [Create a task from a document][link] for more.

I set a duration on a task but it's not showing the time I already worked on it. Why? The left field under Duration tracks time you've manually logged against the task. It doesn't automatically track time — you need to update it yourself as you work. Click the left field and enter the time you've already invested.
