# Manage your subscription

## Billing

**What are AI credits?**

Credits are how Wonderly measures AI usage. They are only consumed when AI takes an action. Using the other features available in your Wonderly account won't consume any AI credits.

Credits are granted upfront at the start of each billing period. On a monthly plan, you receive 10,000 credits at the start of every month. On an annual plan, you receive 120,000 credits upfront for the full year.

Unused credits do not carry over. At the start of each new billing period, your allocation resets to the corresponding amount for your plan. Any credits left from the previous period are not transferred.

For most service businesses, 10,000 credits a month is enough to cover day-to-day AI activity.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://www.wonderly.com/help/account-and-billing/manage-your-subscription.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
